Shah Rukh Khan who will be next seen in Imtiaz Ali’s film with Anushka Sharma is all set to produce a world class war film soon. Yes, a source from Red Chillis confirmed to Mumbai Mirror with regard to it and it is really happening! So, the film is based on Indian Army’s Operation Khukri where in soldiers from the Gorkha Brigade of the army from North East rescued Kenyan residents and Indian soldiers from a siege of rebels without harming a single life! SRK is inspired to make it into a film and will soon lock in the cast. We are not surprised since he made a debut into the world of Showbiz with a serial based on war, called Fauji. He has played a soldier in Farah Khan’s Main Hoon Na too, so he has an army connection and therefore it will be interesting to see him producing this movie.
The film will be well mounted as per the sources and will have the world class elements of a war movie. It will be the biggest one of its kind in Bollywood so far. A source told Mirror, “It has been researched extensively and will be mounted on a really large scale. It will be a true depiction of a massive military operation and will celebrate our heroes. The director and cast are being finalised, the film will roll later this year,“ informed the source, adding that the ambitious project is among the most expensive SRK’s production house has undertaken. “It will be shot in real locations in Africa with some real armed combat battle scenes.“ Red Chillis will partner with Azure Entertainment for this flick.
