1: Smoking in Berlin is strictly prohibited, but considering Shah Rukh Khan's popularity among Germans, he was specially permitted to smoke in one of the hotels in Berlin.
2: Shahrukh Khan's role in the movie required him to be not just fit but also athletic, tough and lean, so as to perform the stunt sequences with ease. For this, Shahrukh underwent an extensive weight training along with a high protein diet.
3: DON 2 got a heavy concession from the German Government. The government provided a rebate of around 3 million euros.
4: Shahrukh Khan reportedly suggested Farhan to cast Lara Dutta in this movie. He did so as his gesture of thanks to Lara for accepting the role in Billu, which other actresses had refused.
5: Shahrukh Khan performed a scene where he had to base jump from the roof of the Park Inn hotel on the Alexanderplatz in Berlin, which was at a height of 300 feet.
